I got up at 6:00 and after cleaning up I reported at the mess hall for duty. After finishing work I took a shower and shaved. The food today was terrible because we only had scraps to cook. The ration truck didn't come in until late in the afternoon. I wrote a letter home and then I went to bed about 9:30 P.M.
