Sat.
Wea. Clear JULY 5 Ther. 89.

I got up at 6:30 and after breakfast I cleaned up for a general inspection by Captain Cuttler. We were all dressed in kakie uniforms and stood at the foot of our bunk. After inspection I put on my Coveralls and made a sign for S/Sgt. Busch. After putting up his sign the Sgt. took me up to the hospital where we visited Elsie and Shompsky. After lunch I went to sleep until three and then I wrote some letters. My radio burnt out while I was sleeping and after S/Sgt. Michael tested the tubes I had Kennedy by me a tube to replace the one burnt out. After supper I did some typing and studying and then went to bed about 11:00.
