Mon.
Wea. Clear JULY 7 Ther. 85

I got up at 6:30 and after cleaning I had breakfast. Yesterday the three of us chipped $5.= apiece and made a down payment on a model A Ford. Ken said we could pay him so much a month and at the same time we could use his license. During the morning I made two waste paper baskets for Sgt. Kasper. After lunch I attending a sex moral lecture by the Dr. and Chaplain. When this was over I wrote a letter home and then had supper. Gus, Walley & I expect to chip $25 each to pay for the ford and fix it up in good shape.
