I got up at 6:15 and after cleaning up I had breakfast. During the day forty nine new men came in. Again we had a job getting them supplied with sufficient bedding. After early chow I took a shower and went up to school. Jonny from Philip Morris was here today. I didn't get to see him but I got some free cigerettes [[cigarettes]]. We tried to run an Octane Test in the Lab but all the spark plugs were faulty so we will have to run it next time. We only had seven men attending class. I got to bed about 11:00P.M. I'm reading a book called "The New Air World" by Willis Luther Moore. I hope I can get into meteorology.
