I got up at 6:20 and after cleaning up I had breakfast. I worked at the Weather station during the morning and part of the afternoon. A notice on the bulletin said we were to work all day Saturday + Sunday. About 2:30 P.M. Gus picked me up in the ford and then we went down to Bucksport where we watched Bucksport and Orono play football. 7-6 favor Bucksport. Very poor game, the players were too small. After the game we went up to Bud + Marys apartment for awhile and then we came into Dressers. Ken [[shaved?]] and then we came out to the feild. We then went downtown where we met Bud Jerry + Mary. Gus + Ken had dates so the rest of us went to the show "Dive Bomber." It was swell. After the show Bud brought me out to the feild. Bed 12:00
