I got up at 6:00 and after cleaning up I had chow. After roll call I went on sick call so I could get something for poison oak I have on my upper left arm. They had nothing for it but they put some salve on it even though it wouldn't do any good. I filled out a B.Card for Jake and then helped put up an M.P. tent. I was slated to be an M.P. but after dinner Sgt. Busch got me a telephone operating job. I was on that for about two hours when Capt Cutler called Statler, Cooke and myself into his tent and told us to start on weather so we would be around when he needed us. Statler + I made up a list so after I took a swim and ate supper I started the first shift from 1900 to 2400. I studied and wrote letters until 10:30
