I got up at 6:00 and after the usual call I had breakfast. During the day I drew a pistol holster & a steel helmet. I then carved out a wooden gun for use during maneuvers. After dinner Maynard & I helped Dixie camoflage [[camouflage]] two tents and then we went into town and took a shower at the Catholic U.S.O. Station. We got back just in time for chow. During the evening I listened to the radio and Herb Glorin gave us some dope on our duties during these coming two weeks of G.H.Q. maneuvers of which we are taking an active part. Bed 9:30 P.M.
