Friday
Wea. Rain - Clear NOVEMBER 21 Ther. 30-68

After a disturbed nights sleep I got up at 5:00 and got out the necessary reports. Maynard slept at the wea. tent too. I typed out a forecast, about one, and then went back to bed. Just before noon we had a big bombing raid. About 200 ships were in the air at the same time. It was a great sight but would have been very disastrous if real bombs would have been dropped. The first phase of the maneuvers ended today a little after noon. I slept in the message center tonight because it was so cold. Bed at 11:00 P.M.
I studied a little tonight at the Pilots club.

Mr. & Mrs. Kanski's anniversary.
