MEMORANDA

we returned with Mrs. Norris. I thanked them all for the grand time. Alicia is all for me, I can tell by her glances. We are to go to the dance next Sat. if I don't go back. When Mary & I went to the door she froze again so all I could say was thanks & good-night. Bed. 0200. Picked a drunk out of the road and brought him out to the Ft.

Never before have I cared so much for a girl as I care for "Red."

wonderful personality. When I'm with her I feel so free and wonderful that sometimes wish could be with her always. Her way of wearing clothes is so like the American girls that no one would ever suspect that she is a newfie. I really could go for her in a big way, if I had half a chance. She seems to enjoy my company and that is all I ask. We congratulated J. King after the show. Had tea with Mary, Mrs Norris, & Uncle Peter at Marys home. Bed about 0110A.
