WEA. Snow-Wind January 14 THER.20
Up at 1030A. I worked at the lab most of the day trying to finish up the shots of Bonavista Bay. After supper I went into Norrises and helped to get things ready for Marys Party. I came out to the fort for the C-3 and could take a few shots of the gang. Mary came in about 2330A with Mr. Grace. We held hands and sat before the fire until the others come. They're were about 30 people present. They sang, danced and had a swell time. We danced the Sir Roger De Coverly dance and man, was it complicated but very much fun. Mary & I put on a little jitterbug show for them and they all thought it was great. Dave, Auntie Nonos war effort was there too and what a mess he was after a few drinks. Mr & Mrs Norris seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. The food was grand and from the results the cocktails must have been good too. I made about five shots of the whole gang. They were dilighted to have their pictures taken. I stayed until everyone left and then thanked everyone for the swell time (more effecting that way.) Walked out to the fort. Bed 0400A.
