Up at 0900A. I went down to the Eng. Lab and developed the Aerial Shots we took yesterday. They were quite good but just a little flat for No. 1 paper. After dinner I lettered the negs. but didn't print any of them. Mary & I made arrangements with Vera Oak to bring her out so we could go ice skating. I had something to eat at the P.X. before I dressed. I then went down to the Eng. Lab when I met Mary. God! She looked lovely, her beautiful red hair set her grand complection off perfectly. But the best of all, her sparkling eyes showed her wonderful personality to full advantage. God! Joy just radiates from her very soul and tonight for the first time it seemed to be focused on me. We had a grand time skating, the moon was full and it was as bright as day. We met [[?]] there and we talked to him for awhile. Mary, if I may say so again, was grand, she would willingly come so close that our cheeks touched. I don't know just what happened to her lately but whatever it is, it is for the better. Norm took her back into town about 2200A. Read awhile Bed 0030A.
