WEA. Cloudy. Clear. January 21 THER. -3

Up at 1130A. After chow I went down to the Eng Lab I took a few pictures with the C-3 on the way down. About 1400A Ken got a car an he, a Capt of the Airlines and myself went around the post and recorded some of the snow scenes. It was clouded over so it wasn't much use taking pictures because of the lack of shadows for snow texture. We got back about 1530A. Lt. Merrium was waiting for me, so I typed up a receipt and gave him the shots of Cape Spear & St. Brides. I helped Mary mix some DR-60A & D-72 and by that time it was 1700A. Time for chow. Mary was exceptionally sweet again and once when we were looking at a print she moved her head so our cheeks touched, and then I looked into those deep blue eyes and I was thrilled completely. I wonder if she was thrilled the same way? Again she said she was going to miss me. I wonder? After supper went to P.X. with [[Halat?]] and then down to the Lab where I was to meet Ken and develop some 16mm but he didn't show up so I developed some 4x5 film packs. Called Norrises and had Mrs. deliver my birthday greeting to Alicia. Read awhile in the latrine. Bed 0130A.
