Went to 1100A mass at the theater. Did a little work around the lab during the day. Went to the show a very good picture "Hit Parade of 1943." We had a little party at the lab because Dobinski & Scallon are leaving tomorrow. Had a phone call from Airdrome office of Hanger #9 and it was Wally Bicknine. What a surprise. I rushed down right away and there he was the same old Wally that I always knew. He hasn't changed a bit. The first time I saw him since 1 yrs ago last Easter. He is on his way to Preswick Ireland aboard a C-54. He is a little scared but he wouldn't miss it for the world, the lucky dog. We had a swell time for about an hour. I showed him through the lab. He told me all about his girl friend and their engagement. About eleven he took off again for England. I had
