Up at 0600A. Had a call from TCA. Took 0800A Plane out for Gander. Nice weather and a swell try back. Hit Gander at 1205A. Got things a little straightened out. Inspection by ATC generals soon. A few new things at the Lab and things are all O.K. I noticed a little resentment on the part of Lt. Gimbel in his conversation, a little strange. Mac left this morning, with I could have seen him back in the States. Slept at the Lab, I was plenty tired. Wrote to Midge and put my heart & soul in that letter.
