Had exercises this morning and feel good. Ankle stronger then I thought. Shot Maj. Story for the post paper. After supper shot the art display & the news broadcaster at the theater. Went to the club with Mac & Phil. Maj. Allen called and at 2030A. took off in the UC-64 with Lt's Grubel Shields Dehaney the crew chief & some Capt. Had a swell trip. The Northern Lights were beautiful from the air. Flew all around them. The field also was a beaut from the air at night glittering like the stars. Lt. Grubel is a lot better since he read a article in the Digest about men and foremen. In a subtle way we saw that he read it.
