Looked over a converted B17 E. with a turret in the nose & tail like the rear 24 turret also two on the top and the usual on the bottom. And too, it carries the usual bomb load. Five man crew, really a neat ship, no waist guns. Have about a 100 B17 G's on the field on the way over. Got 3 new fellows in today from the 61st. One did aerial work in Trinidad.
