Dear brother: Have been expecting for some time to answer your last letter, but have been waiting for a certain event, which has now occurred. Born to us, December 2, a fine, perfect girl[[x mark]] She made very little trouble in coming, not saying how much she will make hereafter [[circled period]] Laura said it was the easiest time she has had yet-- severe pains lasting only two or three minutes. She is doing well. Had chill and fever yesterday, but is now all right. The baby we have named Rhea, so that we have from Ris. A coin-
cidence about it was that Rhea arrived in this vale
