Sunday June 20th,, 1909

Wether fair in forenoon but strong West Wind in afternoon which drifted Ice in against the ship & shore which hindered our unloading Arctic and dangerous for small boats lighters & raft the men made of two boats still lashed together. so a quanity of Lumber & Barrels was place on a large cake of ice and rafted to shore. Monday about 3 A.M. the 21st
Arctic left for Tromso at 6 P.M. motor working with Paul Bioerrig on board.
