Saturday

Wind S and very strong. The men were forced to stop working on the Tower as to continue [[strikethrough]] work on it [[/strikethrough]] is dangerous. 

Two men the Blacksmith & Paul, are laid up today with swollen thraught [[throat]] & jaws.

Thawed some today and at 10 PM Wind strong from South.

Men worked on clearing up floor, hauling snow.

The ice in bay all gone during night by S wind.
