Pangborn Plans 114-Hour Hop Around World

SEATTLE, Dec. 23. (AP)-Circumnavigation of the world by air in 114 hours is the ambition of Clyde Pangborn, veteran flyer, he said today on his arrival from Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holidays with his mother. The proposed non-stop flight, beginning and ending in San Diego, Cal., calls for refueling in the air at New York, Moscow and Chinta, Siberia.
  Pangborn will be accompanied on his 17,000-mile jaunt by Bennett Griffin of Oklahoma City as relief pilot and Reeder Nicholas as radio operator and alternate pilot. 
  His projected flight will begin about July 1.
