Mr. Germain Seligmann
Jacques Seligmann & Company
3 East 51st Street
New York, N. Y.

My dear Mr. Seligmann,

Thank you very kindly for your letter, and perhaps Mr. Stone has already arrived there, so I am leaving it to your judgement as to what to send me. It is a question of price. This lady has a very beautiful new home into which she will probably move in the Spring of the year. She has promised to buy the paintings from me, and naturally, I am trying to make as nice a selection as possible for her.

You have been so kind that I hope I will be able to sell her one or two of your paintings. I would also like to know whether you would be interested in a selection of five very important Corots that we are handling the estate for here in Boston. If so, let me know, and I shall take you to see them on your next trip to Boston.

Sincerely yours,
