GERARD TERBORCH
Born at Zwolle about 1617; died at Deventer in 1681. First, pupil of his father, Gerhard Terborch the Elder; then of Pieter Molyn in Haarlem. Active in Haarlem and, after extended travels in England (1635), Italy (around 1641?), Germany (1646-48), and also perhaps in France and Spain, in Zwolle and Daventer from 1654 on.

Born in Rotterdam about 1601, died 1653. Worked at Rotterdam, Delft, Amsterdam and Weesp.
