Gentelman:

I am enclosing statement of your membership dues for the current year. I was so sorry not to have been able to welcome you at the annual meeting of the College Art Association which took place recently in Washington and which was declared by all those present to be a very successful event. One hundred and sixty-five institutions were represented by delegates, and the interest in our Association was felt to be a very live and constructive one. A certain number of the abstracts of the papers read are still available, and if you will look over the program and indicate which ones you are particularly interested in, we will try to secure them for you.

At this meeting one of the resolutions which was adopted was that there would be an effort toward broadening our membership, and the members pledged themselves in this connection. Knowing of your continued interest in our work, I am sending you a leaflet outlining our activities with the request that you hand it to one of your friends who may be eligible for membership. I take the liberty of doing this, as I believe you would have concurred with those members who were present and agreed to participate in this way.

Very Sincerely yours,

Audrey McMahon
