Mrs. Theodore Cooke,
c/o C.M. Cooke, Ltd.,
Honolulu, H. I.

Dear Mrs. Cooke,

Many thanks for your kind letter which I have just received.

I do no know whether Nielson makes book plates, but he probably could do so, and I would suggest that you write to him directly. His address is --

Kay Nielson,
Friedensborg,
Denmark.

By the bye, I am taking this opportunity of sending you a photograph herewith of a very remarkable high relief of the "Madonna and Child" by Giovanni Della Robbia. You will remember that Mrs. C. M. Cooke was extremely interested in a large semi-circular Della Robbia several years ago which I believe she found too expensive for the purpose she intended it. The group that I now refer to is by the same artist and we could make you a price of less than half that the other one costs. It is in a very remarkable state of preservation, the colors of the dress being bright blue, brown and yellow. Like most important Della Robbias, this one was made in five separate pieces, the divisions of which can be plainly seen in the photograph. I thought I would point this out to you, as otherwise, you might think it was damaged. It would make a most remarkable museum piece, and I, therefore, thought it might interest Mrs. C. M. Cooke.

Again thanking you for your letter, and hoping that I shall have the pleasure of seeing you in the near future, believe me to be

Yours sincerely,
