November 25 - I'm 19 now - last Sunday was my birthday - and I think some time during the last [[strikethrough]] month [[/strikethrough]] ^[[weeks]] I've ceased to be adolescent - I think I've grown up at least I'm in love - desperately and passionately - I won't go as far as to say I've never been before or that I never shall be again - but I have felt more deeply in this short month than I ever have before.  I'll go back to coming to school.  Rod didn't come thru C'ville - something or other happened, he sent numerous regrets.  I went thru Fort Smith.  Became slightly interested in Charlotte's brother - he was interested in entirely different things than I was. He couldn't understand why I hated Arkansas so much we fussed mostly, laughing between times.  Little Rock was horrible.  I stayed with Bobbie.  Her

mother is terribly low brow and I was sorry I had to stay and be nice to her.  I sent flowers to her as compensation for my extreme dislike for her.  High School boys mobed the house.  During Rush week I enjoyed myself thoroly.  Margaret McCaroll from L.R. and some darling L.R. girls were here that were real congenial.  Saw Flora Parks in L.R.  She is in Wash D.C. in school this year.  She was with the debutante crowd mostly. - and the rest of the Univ girls are not among them - only Marg McC.  Ellen went P. Phi - Frank ΣAΕ. None of it worried me.  None of them were sufficiently magnetic to work me into a white heat.  During meetings Marg Mc & I laughed and we never knew who was passing and who wasn't. One egg keep staying and when I asked Irene why she didn't leave I was informed she was one of the new sisters.  Nothing stumped me not even the girl with the hacked looking
