Copy of Endorsement on communication from

Norcom James "freedman" to his sister Harriet "freedwoman. Dated Edenton N.C. January 7th 1866 stating that her son Jerry has been taken away from his home and bound to Mr. Newton Simpson who treats him unkindly, wishes Harriet who lives in Beaufort to go the Edenton and take him Jerry away.
