The Petition of Henry F Granger, respectfully showeth that his father Henry Granger died on the 14th day of October 1863 heired [good guess?] of two (2) certain lots of land with dwelling house Kitchen and the improvements on the same in Morehead City known in the place of Morehead City as lots 12 & 13 Square No. 12 leaving Jesse Willis Granger, Mary Jane Granger, Sarah Francis Granger, and your petitioner, his right heirs at law-

Your petitioner further showeth by the accompanying Copy of the last will and testiment of the said Henry Granger, that he is his lawful executor duly qualified, in the manner prescribed by the laws of North Carolina.

Your petitioner therefore humbly prays that he be put in possession of said lots, with the dwelling house and other improvements thereon. And your petitioner will as is duty bound ever pray
