113 Bryan County Geo. Station 1 1/2 S.R.R. [[Margin]] Tillson [[/margin]] Genl On or about the 1st of April 1865 I was seperated from my husband by the U.S. government and have not heard from him since His name is John Patterson, he was kept to work in Morehead City, on the government wharf, under a man named Davison [[Shaipo?]], and I was sent to Savannah, in this State. I also left with my husband, my son in law Kaid Meloy, whose wife Adeline Meloy is with me now. I ask that you be kind enough to aid me to find my relatives. Sir I have the honor to request that the Hospital at Morehead City N.C. be returned to Beaufort N.C. for the following reasons "viz" I ask where it is now it is of little or no use to the Bureau the communication by water is so difficult that it is at times almost impossible to get there.
