I hereby respectfully request the Asst Comr Bu R.F. and A.L. for North Carolina to authorize and order the appropriation from the fund of the Bureau for School purposes of the sum of One hundred and Sixty Dollars $(160) to complete the [[repairing?]] of a Hospital building into a Freedmens School at Morehead City Carteret Co. N.C

This necessity arises from the fact that there is yet no chimney to render the house safe from fire and a small Govt Building 22 x 14 ft needs to attached to the house for a Teachers or a class room.
