Major S N. Clark
A.A.A. Gen.

Dear Sir:-
I regret exceedingly I was not in when Mr. A. P. Brown (to whom you gave note of introduction) called in reference to the purchase of the Gibson property.

I have found a purchaser Mr. Brooks (cold) who will give $1300.00 (five hundred down the bal. in 6, 8, & 10 months. I promised to give him a decisive answer Tuesday at 2 P.M. April 22d inst. I think the property is worth more but if no one will give more for it it had better be sold to him then.

Very Respectfully
