Maj. S.N. Clark
A.Q.M.
Bangor Dec. 3 1867

Dear Major
I send memoranda of the Cargoe's of the two vessels loaded with the lumber of the last plan of tenements. I have reckoned the excess above that is needed for the ten houses on the island lot and wish you to have this excess taken to the other lot (640) East of the Capitol. Another vessel "Abram Taylor" will soon sail with lumber to go to same place (Lot 640).

The other vessels which sailed first, "Robsom", Ella Hadson" & "Julia E. Arey") are loaded with Barry Farm lumber. It will take considerable care to have the dimention lumber properly divided & sent as above. Please see that it is done as I have directed. Thanks for your good letters which came last night.

It seems we must be mustered out. I am sorry. Everything auspicious [[?]]. Write me at Parker House.

Yrs
