of the Superintendent I am allowed a desk in his Office. There has never been any fire in the Watchman's room, where some of my medicines are kept, and the wood that I have drawn has been expended entirely in the room in my house where my medicines are kept and where I attend to all business not transacted at the Office of the Superintendent. - It will be recollected doubtless by you, that although by written orders I am supposed only to be on duty from 9 to 4 - by verbal instructions from you, I am on duty all the time, night as well as day. If like Dr. Purvis I could be relieved of all charge of the Dispensary I would not consider myself entitled to wood.
