States in reply to communication of A. A. I. G of Feby 3" 68 that there is a cold. man in the Swan Tavern at that place named [[underlined]] Cyrus Bannister. [[/underlined]]

That he has never kept a confectionery store, and is not married. That he is informed that he ^[[insertion]] (Bannister) [[/insertion]] could support a family if he would.
