Barracks have taken shelter), that neither myself nor the carpenter noticed, it being shut off from sight_ when the estimate for roofing was made. I have at request of Jackson, who is in the house, examined his roof, and find it needs repairs to the amount of five dollars. I find that one door is wanting and a few places in the floor need patching. I would respectfully req uest that one hundred feet of second hand lumber, from the E. Cap. B.Rs, may be furnished for the above names purposes. And that the man who is putting on the Roof be allowed to repair said roof of the Back_Building occupied by Geo Jackson. Very Respectfully Your Obt. Svt. [[signature]] J.S. Griffing[[/signature]] Agent Bureau Ref &c P.S. I learn that the name of the owner of said Building is Edward Law Rogers. Res_no.16.
