Genl I merely write you this to know your opinion, and whether I can make an application through the proper channel, with any assurance, that it will be approved. Even if you cannot see the justification of this appeal, allow ^[[insertion]] me [[/insertion]] to return my sincere thanks for your kindness, in granting my request to be transferred from Freedmans Village to this City — for I already begin to appreciate the good it is doing me, in attending to my Studies at the Commercial College
