In reply to communication from Major [[underlined]] Clark, [[/underlined]] in relation to case of [[underlined]] Lewis Gaskins, [[/underlined]] incloses official action in the case.

[[underlined]] Gaskins [[/underlined]] makes trouble wherever he is. A Few days since it was found necessary to confine him ^[[insertion]] in [[/insertion]] the guard house for insolence

He is able to earn his own living.
