States that [[underlined]] Lewis Gaskins [[/underlined]] is disinclined to obey cheerfully the regulations of the Village, and he has discovered that he brings whiskey into the Village to vend or give away.

Call attention to case of [[underlined]] Rob't. Harrington, [[/underlined]] formerly employed as Shoemaker, who has been living with a woman, whom he called his wife, and one child, as dependents, since his discharge in April last. States that as soon as he discovered the fact he discharged the family. - that the woman came with her father on Friday and complained that [[underlined]] Harrington [[/underlined]] had refused to support her longer and had refused to give her her clothes, that he gave her her clothes &c that Harrington conducted himself insolently, says he will not leave the village &c &c

Returned to A. A. Surg. [[underlined]] H. N. Howard, [[/underlined]] Supt. of Freedmen's Village Va. who will expel from the Village the parties herein names, as being unable to support themselves, and owing to their misconduct, not entitled to any longer probation or notification.

If the woman can prove her marriage with [[underlined]] Robt. Harrington, [[/underlined]] she should proceed by the ^[[insertion]] Civil [[/insertion]] Courts to compell him to support her.
