"Well, I was over at Mineola and started to fly back, when I found myself about say thirty or thirty five feet right over the commutor train. Boy, what a jolt I got I never for a second figured on that doggone backwash. That updraft from between the cars was brutal. I found my nose pointed up towards heaven, so I got out of there pretty darned fast. I was so busy maneuvering the plane I didn't have a chance to finger my St. Christopher medal. As you know Hell might be a little crowded and I don't want to arrived [[arrive]] ahead of schedule and find I"ve got no reservations"

"So why didn't you keep your nose down,?" I asked, Little did I realize I was leading with my chin. Now it was my turn to be target.

"Ah, GREAT SCOTT. You can do any thing"
I flared back "I'll bet I could do it. It's elementary, my dear Watson.
"Ah right, Mrs. Sherlock, how will you keep the nose down when you're bucking a strong updraft?:"
"As I said before.."Hld the nose down!"
"Hah! That's just the point! Do you realize, Wise Pants, that with that train going so fast, so close below you, you're going to be hit from underneath with one jolt right on top of another?"
"Sure, besides, I think it would be losts [[lots]] of fun riding an air washboard and enjoying the bumps."
"Heck, Scott, those aren't bumps, they're blasts, and they could b last you right into Kingdome Come, or that other place we mentioned."
I had talked myself into a corner, I dared not retreat, "I still think it would be fun." I also had to do it to prove it to him and to myself that I wasn't [[strikethrough]] ? [/strikethrough]] part chicken and part mouth. So a couple days later, some other idiots and I tried it. It turned out that there was quite a trick to it and that it wasn't as simple as I had airily painted it to be. We spent evening with pencil and paper, drawing maps and charts and computing angles until we finally got the sport down to something that sounded reasonable. It was very well we did.
If it was reasonable and would remain so unless one of us got careless.
