having a splendid time. 251 meteorites to date plus 5 or six in McM 11:10 P.M. & not quite retired. A breeze is setting in.

The breeze heightened. The light streamer of cirrus I saw converging north meant something again. Then AM I lay listening to the wind. I judged it not so severe as Friday, but enough to keep us home. Yet at 8:20 we heard John outside. He said "knock knock". "I don't know if we'll go out today -- the wind is still up -- but I thought I'd wake you up anyway." I laughed. But was glad to get up. Had coffee & oatmeal but found it hard to rouse Ghislaine. She has an upset stomach this morning. Indeed, she threw up while I was in the privy. Hasn't been eating enough? Or right? And has same neck trouble today. Fortunately, no one else may ever have to know. The wind kept up all A.M. & P.M.

Did not want to eat. Likes to make food from the beginning. Also -- this doesn't seem like work, it seems to her like a vacation & one without much to do. She never takes long vacations & this is already ~6 weeks. Also, all the decisions come from the other tent: "they barely have to courtesy to tell us where we are going in the morning. ^[[She is not used to being told what to do.]] And she didn't like last night's conversation w. Bill. It is true we could stay late; leave Allan Hills & get home in 4 or 5 days but there is no thought of what condition we would be in. In short, she is ready to go home.

Had a rather good dinner. Then ~ 7:20 Bill came by to say he & Bob were going out
