After they left I stood around awhile in a rage then began shoveling out our food sledge. John & Bob came into camp to read the instruction for their machine. It wasn't working. Before they left I got John to pull the sledge out of its drift for me.

Then I went through all our food boxes packing some for retro & 3 small ones for the trek. Got a few things from the cache. Had lunch late; ~ 2:30. All day I could see Bill & Gh's snowmobiles on the skyline. Bob & John came & went several times. They moved to the ice & I saw them climb the slope & visit Bill & Gh. Then they came down again. Poor results. Stopped that project & went surveying.

In the later PM I melted some snow & put order in my things in the tent. As I heard the snowmobiles come back I realized it was Bill & Gh. I went out--barely wanting to speak to them -- they were all cheery & greeting me happily. I said little - told

Bill I wanted to ride out to look for my card & he said "OK take this skidoo" It was 1364 (mine). I hopped on and roared away at full throttle -- letting off steam & frustration. It was great to be out and away. I raced 2 miles to our photo stop & then stopped to look through the moraine for meteorites. I decided to stay a long time. I could see the camp on the horizon & Bob & John out to the West. Walked around where Shiraishi, Bill & I had done 3 years ago. I even felt I could recognize some of the big boulders -- although the whole moraine is now full of snow. Finally, in looking in the windscoops I found a meteorite--tho it was a little hard to tell without my glasses. That made me feel better. I meant to collect it but had no camera so I decided to put it in a 1/2 teflon bag & carry it home. We can photograph it & "collect" it tomorrow -- who cares. Came home ~ 5:45. gased up & parked. Now that I had a probable meteorite I felt better & called to Bill in his tent. He was coming to supper & we agreed on ~ 40 minutes lead time. He said to leave the meteorite by my tent & we could see it then.

Back in my tent Gh & I had a pleasant enough conversation. I might not have managed it earlier.
