Statement of Wright Brothers to Herbert N. Casson. "There is nothing flimsy about our machine," said Orville Wright. "And we have perfected a system of control which makes it almost as safe and serviceable as a bicycle. We have never aimed at merely flying--for what use would a flying machine be which no one could manage?
