It would seem that gravel would prevent this to some extent.

15 window springs on the 2nd floor and 3 on the 1st floor are either broken or out of order,

At the 6 doors on the east and west sides of the building the rain drives in to the distance of 4 or 5 feet.

At the 2 doors on the 2nd floor the rain drives in and runs down into the room below making it quite wet there when it rains.

A small water shed of a few boards over each door would obviate this difficulty.

If these repairs can be conveniently made we are desirous that they may be done while the building is being put in order.
