Kendall Green July 21st 66

I have the honor to state that the severe gale on the evening of the 18th Inst. blew down some 100 yards, or more, of the high fence along the road, enclosing the square recently turned over to the Bureau, at this camp. The fence had been previously supported by the sheds that have been [[?torn]] away. Thus I have been compelled to employ all my force, and use a quantity of nails in making repairs for the past few days.
I am more in need of another keg of 100 lbs temporary nails, $8 lbs of six penny nails.
Very Respectfully
Your Obt Servant
