Colonel
According to your instructions I have examined the work done by Mr Hanover at Capitol Barracks. and have the honor to submit the following report.- The Stove pipe is the same size and kind of that put up by Mr Gregory at Wisewell Barracks. the latter work was done at the following rate- (44) forty-four cents per foot for (10) ten inch sheet iron pipe and (20) twenty-cents each for collers. that amount covered all the expences for work and materials to put the pipe in working order. I would respectfully suggest that Mr Hanover be paid at the same rate. as per following statement.
