Vol. 1 No. 2305 A.C. D.C. 1866. Washington, Oct. 3rd 1866 Perkins, J.M. Clary States that the Boston School Building, 17" and "I" Sts. is leaking badly. That Genl. O.O. Howard, in a letter dated May 28" 1866, stated, to the Rev. J.S. Backus, D.D. Secy. A.B.H.M. Society, that he would fit-up the building, 17" and I, without charge to the Society.
