Dr. Jacobson, neurotic, melancholic, reserved, gentle
Mrs. J - powerful, overbearing Germanic type strong willed, domineering type.

Lucy stayed to lunch & we then went to the movies - bad Amer. film - at least the scenery of Glacier Hill Park was refreshing.

& the avalanche made one forget completely one was in sub-tropical Rangoon. 
Home at 2.30 - Bad water color - well, not particularly good.

At 5. John & Maria Baddeley with their beautiful little girls, Dorothy 6 and Miranda 4, came to visit & tea. He is typically English in his late 30's, light brown hair, eyes, mustache, small chiseled nose, full lips, tall, thin - Winchester School - well informed, sympathetic; with the British Embassy. Maria looks slightly older than he, she is part Greek - part French. Classic features, wonderful large dark eyes, black hair - handsome. Pleasing voice - intelligent, well read - Dostoevsky, Gide, Jung - Given to self analysis. Very nice.
