ST LOUIS POST DISPATCH? Oct. 26, 1904.

SIGHT OF AIRSHIP PROVES BETTER THAN MEDICINE.

Unsuspected tonic and recuperative properties resident in an airship were developed by the flight of the Baldwin ship over the city Tuesday afternoon.

These properties were manifested at Robekah Hospital, Grand avenue and Caroline Street.

Dr. Albert Steiner was at the hospital using all of his skill to improve the condition of the patients when the airship hove in sight.

One of the patients, otherwise ailing, but with unimpaired lung powers, yelled "airship".

The effect on the patients was electrical. The lame, the halt and the deaf forgot their infirmities and stampeded for the open air, and even the blind groped their way after the rest, eager to be told about it by those who could see

The airship was watched as long as it could be seen, and for quite half and hour afterward the patients were so interested in talking about what they had seen that they had no time to think of their aches and pains, and the improvement in the cases of some of them seems to have endured.

In view of the effect wrought by the appearance of one airship over the hospital it is thought that a regular airship regiment would accomplish wonders.
