"Who in ---- are you?" When I told hime he calmed down as he had though that I was one of the strikers who had been causing trouble at his tack factory.
   We had a good laugh and a good dinner after which we made a new contract for the 1906 fair. The contract was about the same as that of the year before with the exception that there was no guarantee of expenses, and that the first flight made was to be without cost to the fair.
   Our season was booked solid and one fair seemed to be much the same as the others. We hurried to a city, secured transportation to the grounds and worked like beavers all night to get ready for the next day. Then we would worry all through the week to be able to {{strikethrough}}fulfil{{/strikethrough}} fill the terms of our contract. We also worried until the check had been paid. As this was the procedure every week, we were all of us about worn out by the time of the close of the season. It was a hard life, but interesting.
