I was notified that the Governor of Massachusetts was in the grandstand, and would I please make a flight at once. As soon as I approached the grandstand, I noticed the man at the top of the steel structure waiving his arms for me to not get too close as he was about to release the auto, I therefore turned to the left and away from the auto.

Mr. Fred Glazier was ready to photograph the scene and was fortunate in getting both attractions in action, this photograph he called "The Thrillers."

On thursday we had a wind come up suddenly and caught me while flying. It was one of those freek winds and was over as quickly as it arrived. During the flight I found the ship virtually standing still over the ground.

This time I was paid in full and invited to return in 1907.
