MEMORANDUM for the Regional Director, Region One. 

    We have been advised by the War Department that one Jacobs engine was shipped by freight to Manteo, North Carolina, from Fairfield Air Depot, Fairfield, Ohio, on July 21, 1941, consigned to John D. Driskill, National Park Service, Manteo, North Carolina. 

    As no railroad connection extends south beyond Elizabeth City, please make the necessary arrangements to have the engine delivered by track.
